The other weekend I got to spend some time with some of our good friends and their precious new addition.  Miss E. is beautiful and tiny.  She is blessed to have such loving and excited parents.  I'd say she's doing a pretty good job of figuring out how to make it in this world.  One of the sweetest moments of the morning was when Spencer sang to her and she immediately quieted down.  She definitely knows who her parents are.  I love doing newborn sessions, but every time I come home, I am reminded of how quickly time flies and my baby girl doesn't look so much like a newborn anymore.  I cannot wait to see the beautiful young lady Miss E. grows up to be.  Thank you Spencer and Becca!

Enjoy!

This week we our theme was Laughter.  I love watching my two favorite boys laugh and play together.

Show some love to my friend Jon Yoder .

This week would have been very easy if I were on the fabulous trip that my mother and sister have embarked on to Ireland.  Needless to say, I have felt very uninspired knowing they are driving through the rolling hills of that beautiful country....so I cheated.  This is an image I took a few weeks back, but I like it.  He makes me smile all the time.  And I feel as though Jack and Maggie are my pot of gold.  He does this fantastic fast-feet-dance and my mother seems to think he resembles King Brian, from "Darby O'gill and the Little People".  If you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it in honor of the holiday (you will be pleasantly surprised to find a young Sean Connery".

Happy St. Patty's Day!

The other morning I got to meet up with one of my favorite couples...favorite because they are family!  My brother-in-law, Adam and his fiancĂ©, Sarah took advantage of the beautiful weather and the blossoming trees for some "springy" (Sarah's word) engagement pictures.  They had some fabulous ones taken by their wedding photographer this past fall and I was honored that they asked me to add to their collection.  Here's a secret, my brother-in-law...much like my husband...is a goofball, so we laughed for most of the morning.  There are a few of the images that I think you will be able to see the personality coming through. :)  I'm so excited for their approaching wedding.  June will be here before we know it and Sarah will officially be an Ingle!  Adam and Sarah, thank you for spending Saturday with me!

Enjoy!

Wow, this week's theme threw me for a loop.  I think it has something to do with the saying that Spring comes in Like a Lion...but that doesn't give me inspiration, at least not while chasing two kiddos and trying to maintain a house. :)  So I put on my thinking cap and came up with an entirely homemade savannah.

There was a mom who did scenes like this with her daughter that surfaced while I was pregnant with Jackie, but I hadn't ever tried to create one myself.

I also realize that Maggie would be a lioness and would not have a mane, however, I do not believe that you could recognize what she is supposed to be with out one.  See this is her just being sweet after we fought with the mane for awhile.

Head on over to see how Taylor , of Taylor Howard Photography, is interpreting "Lion".
