I had the opportunity to step outside of my "child/family photographer" role to do an engagement session with some of our good friends.  I was very honored when Glen and Kirstin asked me to do their engagements.  They are such a beautiful couple inside and out.  There are just some people who seem to just fit and I get that feeling from these two.  They will be such a powerful force for God's kingdom!
We had fun walking around downtown Searcy and just picking out different spots.  One of the funniest moments of the day was when one of the radio personalities shouted from across the street about how Glen's hair was just fine (as Kirstin was fixing it).  We all got a kick out of that!
 Thank you Glen and Kirstin!

Enjoy!

This would be when our radio friend gave the shout out.

Warning:  these little guys might just steal your heart.  On Saturday I met up with Gwen and Kerri and we took on a session with 12...count them 12...puppies!  They are only a month old and they squeaked like crazy.  It was adorable!  Kerri's 3 kids were there to help baby sit the pups, and man were they helpful!  I have told Andrew on more than one occasion, I would love to breed dogs because you get to play with them with they are cute and little and then they all go away :)  I think I am a little jaded by my very energetic lab.  I had such a fun time with all of you!  Thank you Gwen and Kerri.

Enjoy!

The other morning I got to spend some time with a very special young man.  Mr. C has beautiful red hair and his mother liked the idea of dressing him up as a country boy/cowboy.  He reminded me so much of my sweet little Jack. :)  He was born about 6 weeks early and so he is just now up to speed with his due date, and man is he a healthy boy!  I love babies so much.  They are truly the most precious miracles on this earth.  Thank you Cory and Ang!

Enjoy!

I was so excited when my good friend called me the other day to come take some newborn pictures of their sweet new Miss E.  She is just simply perfect from her head to her toes.  She did very well and didn't put up much of a fight all afternoon.  You might recognize her parents, I took some maternity pictures for them a while back.  You can see those here.

Thank you so much Josh and Jessica!

Enjoy!

I had so much fun with these city girlies :) .  They made the drive out to the sticks and didn't quite know what to think.  I'm just kidding, they did great!  They weren't sure about the tall grass I had them stand in, but they were troopers.  Sisters are a very special thing and I can't wait to see how these two grow together.  Thanks Gentry!

Enjoy!
