How did you spend your Valentine's Day?  Let me tell you how I spent mine...with this lovely couple shooting their engagement pictures.  Blake and Jen are such a sweet couple whose relationship is full of special memories at a very special place.  They spent a great deal of time working together at Camp Tahokdah.  If you haven't ever been there, it really is one of the most wonderful places God created.  Their job was taking care of the horses.  It was so cute to hear their stories about driving the camp truck and how Black always opened Jen's door after she opened the gate.  It is evident to see how in love these two are, but also that their love is based on a true friendship.  We spent a lot of time laughing!  It is always a joy to be able to capture love between two people.

Since their story revolves around camp, we decided to head on up to Floral and do their session there.  The barn where they spent so much time together, the horses they worked, the bridge that's such symbol of camp...we made sure to hit them all :)  I'm so excited to share these with you.

Thank you Blake and Jen!  Enjoy.

Today you are getting a Sneak Peek to a Sneak Peek.  I had a lovely engagement session the other day, which I will tell you more about in its own post, with two lovely individuals.  Watching this couple beginning their forever together, is such a delight.

Head on over to my friend Kim's post, of Zoe Weddings, and leave some blog loving.

A few weekends ago, we made a trip to visit my husband's family in TX.  It was such a blessing to get together with family that we hadn't seen since our wedding!  His cousin came with her beautiful baby girl who is 3 months old.  Miss J is such a doll!!!  From her infectious smile to her amazing mohawk, she is a true joy.  The problem with living so far apart is that we miss seeing our babies grow up together.   We had a 2 year old, 1 year old, 9 month, 3 month and 1 month all under 1 roof...sound crazy?  You bet your bottom dollar it was!  Thankfully we'll have such hilarious and wonderful memories from this weekend.   Thank you Mandy!  You are such a wonderful mother.

Enjoy!

This week's theme is fittingly "love".  Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays!  If you ask why...because I love to bake!  This is such a fun holiday to bake treats for those that I love.  I realize I am using love in a very loose way, but it brings me joy that I was able to spend the morning making a mess in my kitchen with my kiddos close by.

I love my kitchen aid.

Jack loves his bananas.

I love baking cookies!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am not sure how this week has passed by so quickly, but once again it is Friday.  The theme for this week is "Red".  This past weekend we headed down to TX to visit Andrew's family and I got this hilarious shot of my nephew.  I barely got it because he was running in the opposite direction.  His mom has a super hero kit that came with this mask.  I truly believe that this child could save the world.  He looks fantastic in a cape and can make a whole room smile.
