Logan & Adam are Married {Arkansas Wedding Photographer}

I cannot say enough about this lovely couple and their wonderful families.  Logan and Adam chose to have their wedding at Logan's Aunt and Uncle's farm...good choice.  The weather was perfect, the details were rustic, yet elegant, and the air was filled with joy!  The reception was held in the barn and the ceremony took place in the field right next to it.  They had two wooden doors set up for the bridal party to enter through.  And the aisle was lined with buckets of baby's breath.  I was so glad when they decided to have a first look!  During Logan's bridals we found this little hill that was the perfect backdrop to their special moment together.  Since we did so much in the tall grass Logan's beautiful dress had baby grasshoppers trapped in all of the layers.  She was a trooper and just rolled with it.  :)  What fun memories they have collected from their wedding.  I was honored to be a part of it.

Mr. E {Arkansas Newborn Photographer}

Hello all, I would like to introduce you to my 2nd cousin once removed...again, I have no clue how all of that works, or if it is even correct.  Mr. E arrived in fine style with his head full of white hair and a disposition you can't buy.  He is one of the sweetest little babies ever made.  His parents are doing a fantastic job and his grandparents, aunts, and uncles are spoiling him with love.  We had so much fun doing his newborns.  This child sleeps all the time, however, he knew that we were doing a session and didn't want to miss a minute.

Week 22: Simple {Project 52}

With this week's theme being "Simple", my mind went directly to an engagement session I just had the pleasure of shooting.  This couple has been together since high school and are getting married in December.  Watching them interact with each other spoke of a very complex love, that was simple for them to express to one another...almost effortless.  They truly are each other's compliment.

Week 20: Family {Project 52}

Here is a little sneak peek at a session I just did with my cousins.  Their precious baby boy has the blondest hair and the sweetest disposition.  I. just. love. him.  They are embarking on a whole new chapter in their lives.  Tim and Melissa are already fabulous parents.  I'll post more later on this week, but here are a few that showcase family to me.

Week 17: Morning {Project 52}

For this week's theme, I decided to let you see what my actual Morning looks like.  Truth be told, this is my favorite time of day for our family...especially on Saturdays because Andrew doesn't have to get up early to leave for work.  

Somewhere between 5-6am Maggie wakes up and joins us in bed for her breakfast.  We all snuggle back into bed and when Jack wakes up he joins the party.  Typically, we have another addition to our snuggle time.  His name is Mr. Cow, he is my son's very best friend.  In one of the images Jack is making a strange face, but if you can imagine a sweet little voice yelling "Coooooooow" it will fit perfectly.  I hope you have a great Morning!

Adam's Family {Arkansas Family Portrait Photographer}

The Saturday of Easter weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family!  The Adams go back as far in my memories as I can recall.  They have grown from a family of 5 to a family of 7 by adding a beautiful daughter-in-law and  a precious grandson.  I love seeing my friends become parents and/or aunts and uncles.  Mr. R is one loved little dude.  His smile just melted my heart and even with a tooth coming in, he preformed fabulously for our session.  I am so grateful that I was able to capture this family together and to catch up with some old friends. :)  Thank you Mr. Neville, Mrs. Jana, Heath, Jenni, Kurt and Kami!

Week 15: Shower {Project 52}

I took a different approach for this week's theme.  This past Monday a few of my friends and I threw Poker themed Baby shower for our friends, the Carpenters.  We had so much fun planning and decorating for this non-traditional event.  We had, what we believed was, typical poker night food:  sub sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, chips and salsa, and root beer, as well as entire table full of sweets.  The women put our feet up while the men engaged in a friendly game of Poker.  Fittingly the Daddy-to-be won.  It was such a fun evening spent with wonderful friends.  Here are a few shots from the party.
